Anyone in the world Thanks to my older brother Greg for sending over this very cool video and brief article on a study done at Harvard, starting in the 30's about happiness. In fact, it might be the longest study of anything. Here is the link: http://optionarmageddon.ml-implode.com/.
Basically, negative emotions are more in the now. Happiness and positive emotions are about the future, including hope and faith. Negative emotions protect us and often trigger help from others. Happiness can leave us feeling vulnerable to negative experiences so we often don't seek them out. I guess it is safer to stay in negative stuff then to seek out positive stuff. Interesting. |
